Great Work, need little help

I am a great fan of your work. Several months back you pointed me to this. For me there is a lot to take in and I am not sure where to start. I have come back to this several times over the last several months, but not luck. I have an issue. I am forced to use single line text field to capture data, but data will only be whole numbers. I cannot apply any formulas but count. so I created calc fields to convert the input to INT. So I either need to figure out how to average the results of my grouped, original input, or average the calc fields. If you could provide me a Q&D way to quickly average one calc column, DisplayName is "q01"

I know I need jquery resource

and I think a link to your js, correct?

what would the script look like for the calc column "q01" in a view?

thanks Larry

This resource will not help you "do anything" with the data, it only gets the data and helps with the calculations.  This is basically straight from one of the examples on Home:

	if (typeof ctx=='object'){
			var avg = ows.getAvg(o.ctx, 'q01');

You probably don't want to alert the average, but whatever you want to do with it needs to take the place of the alert function call made in the callback.
